The Xorbars Platforms come with a good quality decking included in the price. However we understand that you may want to consider a few other options such as super thick boards and of course Anti-Slip Systems. The price to Upgrade to an alternative is shown under each of the platforms.
IMPORTANT: Using decking with any form of Anti-Slip surface is expensive. Provided that you keep your platform maintained then slipping is not so much of an issue. However, we wanted to make sure that you have the option of upgrading should you wish.
As Standard: 28mm Thick Redwood Decking (Included)
All Xorbars Platforms come with this included in the price of the product. We have been using this since launching the platforms. Upgrades only became available in 2021.
Our 28mm Decking is machined out of Swedish Redwood Timber and hand cut to size. Swedish Redwood Decking has many qualities, resistance to shrinking and warping, enhanced durability and it also ages well.
As part of the installation we also add further protective treatment to the decking boards.
Special Upgrade 1 : 39mm Super Thick Redwood Decking
Super Thick decking is one of the best softwood decking on the market and certainly the thickest , finishing at roughly 39mm.

Special Upgrade 2: 28mm Anti Slip Standard Redwood
Most decks in wet or icy conditions become slippery and potentially dangerous. The Anti-Slip process utilises a specially formulated and highly durable combination of resin and aggregate which is professionally inserted into the machined grooves of the timber deck.

Special Upgrade 3: 28mm Walksure (Buff & Brown)

eDecks Walksure Low Slip Deck Board is a slip resistant product which combines EPDM rubber and pressure treated softwood deck board.
The resulting product provides not only an attractive and colourful alternative to traditional timber decking but also a safe slip resistant surface in wet or dry conditions.
